Texcare Forum Russia 2014 – the only industry meeting - offers unique experience

The Forum for Modern Textile Care was held successfully on March 12-13, at Expocentre Fairground in Moscow. Based on the main cleaning and laundry operators’ proposals this year Texcare Forum Russia is held twice. The spring event was devoted to the advantages of outsourcing of cleaning services and renting out textiles in healthcare facilities. The autumn issue will include VII All-Russia congress of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises and the conference on rental textile services in hospitality industry in Russia. Forum was held with the support of Health Department of Moscow Government. Well-known German company – KIEHL KG was the sponsor of the Forum.

Within the Forum two conferences were organized: ‘Outsourcing of cleaning services in medical facilities in Moscow’ and ‘Textile rental services in medical facilities in Moscow: problems and perspectives’.  During two days the conferences were presented to the 187 visitors from 9 regions of Russia, including the representatives of official authorities, professional unions, experts of Russian and foreign researching institutes, specialists from cleaning industry and textile rental services companies as well the representatives from Moscow medical facilities.

Messe Frankfurt organized the conference ‘Outsourcing of cleaning services in medical facilities in Moscow’ in cooperation with the Union of Russian Cleaning Companies on March, 12. The conference was devoted to the current challenges for the cleaning industry companies in Russian hospitals.

Twelve top speakers from different fields of the industry shared their experience and current projects with the audience. In the limelight were issues of development of environmentally friendly technologies for the industry, legal support and protection of the interests of the enterprises of cleaning industry, and problems of training and professional development. Leading companies such as Premier Service and OMC as well the representatives from hospitals confirmed great relevance of the conference for both sides: participants and speakers.

Advantages of the complete range of textile rental services in hospitals

The international conference entitled ‘Textile rental services in medical facilities in Moscow: problems and perspectives’, was also a great success and was held on the second day of the Forum, March, 13. Textile rental services in the hospital segment is quite new for the Russian market, but is developing intensively during the last 5 years. Speakers of such well-known companies as Cotton Way and Blesk InCare provided insights into trends and prospects, the advantages of textile rental services in medical facilities, the current situation and market potentials of linen and workwear rental services in Russian hospitals.

In the frame of Texcare Forum Russia the exhibition of the latest developments of the industry leaders attracted great interest among visitors of the Forum. Among the exhibitors were such famous companies as Ecolab, Kiehl and Vermop.

Texcare Forum is developing and continues its positive growth on the Russian market to become the leading meeting point for professionals of the industry. The purpose of the Forum is to promote a new sector of the Russian business –textile service field -and to improve cleaning services and industrial laundry.

Once again Texcare Forum Russia has con­firmed its reputation and brought together all Russian industry leaders and experts of industrial laundry, professional cleaning and textile rental services.

The next Texcare Forum Russia will be held 1-2 October, 2014 at IEC “Expocentre” and consist of  the VII All-Russian Congress of Dry Cleaning and Laundry Enterprises (01 October 2014) and the Conference ‘Problems of laundry and textile rental services development in Russian hospitality industry’ (02 October 2014).
