Post-release Texcare Forum Russia 2015

The Forum for Modern Textile Care «The basic principles of the sustainable development of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises in the conditions of falling demand for services» was held successfully on December 4-5, 2015 on the territory of the GlavUpDK Zavidovo complex.

The Forum was attended by more than 40 owners of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises from Moscow, Moscow region, Novosibirsk, Voronezh, Krasnodar.

Traditionally, the Forum was held under the auspices of the Department of Trade and Services of Moscow Government. Procter & Gamble and Texcarepro were the official partners of Texcare Forum Russia. Within the Forum the summing up the National Competition Global Best Practice Awards was conducted.

Conducting in parallel the Forum and the National Competition allowed to fully present to stakeholders the best business practices, to get acquainted with the new concept of safety and sustainable development of the industry, formed a new trends and new approaches customer services in the changed economic conditions.

Opening the forum, Leonid Bertsev, the President of AHP, described the current state of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises and outlined the strategy for the industry development in terms of decline in demand. The theme was continued by Sergey Kharin, industrial sales manager of Procter & Gamble Professional Russia, to the report "Modern trends in at Russian laundry market". In his speech, speaker drew the audience's attention on the problems of cost optimization and the search for comprehensive solutions.

The head of the legal service of the Association of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises, Sergei Korjagin, in his presentation described the legal aspects of legal regulation in medical examinations of workers in dry cleaning and laundry enterprises. The special attention was given to the problem of state authorities and ventures relations, in particular with Rospotrebnadzor.

Of great interest was the report of Irina Hapko of Group of Companies ‘Poryadok’ (Novosibirsk, Russia), devoted to changing the mentality of a Russian customers in the field of dry cleaning and laundry services as a path to personal freedom. A lively discussion ensued, examples from the legal practice of the enterprise, and proposals for their prevention.

The event participants mostly owners of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises exchanged experiences on the optimization of business processes at both industrial laundries and the dry cleaning and laundry facilities, serving the public, as well discussed the problem of training personnel for the industry and interaction with state authorities.

Organizer of Global Best Practice Awards, which took place in the framework of Texcare Forum Russia, was the Association of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises. The contest participants were evaluated in three categories - "Network dry cleaning and laundry enterprise", "Dry cleaning and laundry enterprise " and "Industrial laundries. Textile services. "

The jury consisted of indisputable experts, as the chairman of TC 346 "Consumer services" Rosstandart Tatjana Zvorykina, Head of the Department "Technology of service" RosNOU Andrej Ageev and General Director of OOO "TsNIIbyt" Tatjana Balanova, as well as representatives of the Association of dry cleaning and laundry enterprises and sponsors of the event.

The winners of the national contest are planning a trip to the Texcare International Fair in Frankfurt in June 2016 to participate in the finals of the international competition CINET Best Practices Awards 2016.

Summing up the results of the Forum, it may be noted that the events of this level enrich the professional community with new knowledge and ideas, contribute to the spread of progressive experience and exchange of information, suggest ways of further dry cleaning and laundry enterprises development in a falling demand.

The next Texcare Forum Russia will take place October, 4-5, 2016.
